Daddy + Zoo = Smiles

Yes, I am behind on my blogging.  Life has been CRAZY the past few weeks, and the last thing I have had time for is sitting at the computer.  A few weekends a go, we finally got the chance to go to the zoo as a family this year.  Nolan and I have been a few times this Spring, but Brad was always working when we went.  We had such a great time.  Nolan is an absolute animal lover, and watching the excitement on his face was priceless.
The only picture of Brad and myself at the zoo.  Moments before I zoomed in on a strange bird and captured a very up close pic :)

I love this picture.  I caught Brad in a parenting moment. Nolan wanted out of the stroller, and Brad talking him into staying in.

These are the only pictures of Nolan.  Brad was on camera duty, and he took pictures of the animals.  In his words "aren't the animals what we were there to see?" Guess he was right.  Here are some of his pics...I deleted about 50 :)

Once I realized that we had 100 pictures of random animals and two pictures of Nolan, I took over.  Here is my Boo loving on some goats at the petting zoo.  He followed them around everywhere.  I must get this kid a pet.

Corny Situation

Can you tell corn is on his top 10 favorite foods list?

Eebee Love is Forever

See that little boy?  He fell back in love tonight.  Eebee is Nolan's first love (besides his mommy).  If you read this blog or know my son, you know that he began a love affair with Eebee at a very early age...4 months to be exact.  He used to watch Eebee's Adventures daily.  That is until we discovered that our cable company stopped offering free episodes.  At that point, Yo Gabba Gabba took over.
A few nights ago, we turned on the TV and noticed that Eebee had returned!!  Nolan jumped up and grabbed his Eebee doll.  It has been a little while since he played with it as well.  He immediately returned to his old ways...eating the hair :)
While we were watching, Brad got the Eebee puppet and hid behind the couch.  He slowly raised it up and said Nolan's name.  My poor Boo flipped out.  He smiled for a split second ( curse my awful slow shutter speed camera...hint hint...a nikon for Christmas would be awesome!), and then lost it.  The same "lost it" as his last visit to Santa.  Instantly,  he was attached to me with a death grip.
His moment of fear did not last long.  The funny part was watching Nolan look at the puppet and the turn to look at the TV trying to figure out how Eebee could be in two places at once :)
As soon as Brad revealed himself, Nolan jumped up with excitement and laughter (once again my camera stinks.  Lighting and quality is awful...hint hint)
 Eebee love :)

Science Center Fun

A few weekends ago, our little family visited the Adventure Science Center.  Nolan loves this place.  No, he is not a super smart toddler who understands the "science" behind things.  He is a super energetic toddler who loves to have space to run and things to get into :)  As with any trip to the Science Center, Nolan started at his favorit station.....
He loves watching the colorful balls being sucked up into the tubes, and then watch them bounce back out.

Every time we come, he learns how to do somethig new. This time around he learned to climb the "secret stairs".

We tried our best to get a family picture, but Nolan was not having it :)

Find a button...he will push it.  He walked around the entire time we were there saying "push", and BOY did he find lots of buttons to push!

I spy with my little eye......

Boo is "ON TOP OF THE WORLD" :)

Daddy and Boo had some good father/son time.  I think Brad was just as into it as Nolan...boys!

Another Science Center first.  The last time we were there Nolan WOULD NOT go inside this tube. He would sit at the entrance and not budge any further.  This time around Brad ran to the other side and Nolan was able to crawl through to get to daddy.  He will do anything for his daddy :)
